Fees and Charges
My fees and charges are established in a separate fee schedule, which I update
to reflect changes in materials and other non-fixed costs. For case management,
I charge either by the hour or on the basis of an agreed-upon amount for each
project. Separate fees for appearance and costs are negotiated for
presentations. I cannot accept third party or insurance payments, nor do I run
individual accounts beyond the completion date of a project. All fees are due
and payable upon completion of service or at the end of each hour of
consultations, administrative services, or in-person advocacy.
When a case is managed on an hourly basis, I invoice the financially responsible
person or agency in one monthly invoice, completely itemizing and documenting
all costs. I do not have a sliding scale fee structure. Payment is due and
payable upon demand unless other advance arrangements for payment are explicitly
made, in writing.
